Project Manager

What you'd be doing:
A Modwest Project Manager coordinates technical team activities associated with multiple projects for multiple clients, communicates with those clients, and keeps everyone appraised of progress throughout. The Project Manager is also responsible for assessing needs and developing detailed project requirements.
Who we're looking for:
A detail-oriented natural communicator who understands the software development process and is driven by achieving goals and meeting deadlines. Keeping track of the myriad details associated with multiple ongoing projects is a talent required of the position.

Systems Administrator

What you'd be doing:
Assist the Senior Systems Administrator managing a complex Linux cluster of scores of servers, including an EMC SAN and blade servers. Duties will include installation, configuration, and management of Linux software related to 24/7/365 production hosting services.
Who we're looking for:
A collaborator and communicator accustomed to working as part of a team and also doing independent research and responding to urgent systems incidents. Advanced Linux systems administration knowledge is a requirement of this position, preferably in a large-scale, 24/7/365 enterprise environment. Experience with the following software packages and technologies is desired: Apache, Amanda, PHP, MySQL, Postfix, Cyrus, Request Tracker, SpamAssassin, MailScanner, PowerDNS, Plesk, PostgreSQL, Exim, OpenLDAP, NFS, AFS, LVS, Subversion. Candidates should have expert scripting and programming abilities in bash, Perl, and PHP. Cisco/Juniper networking, BGP, C, and Linux kernel development experience are also desirable.

Web Production Assistant
Terms: $10-$15/hr DOE
Hours: Part Time, 15-30 hours/week

What you'd be doing:
A Web Production Assistant communicates with our web design customers regarding changes to their sites, and helps the web development team implement those changes. This includes image preparation and manipulation, text formatting and editing, and basic layout changes using Dreamweaver and Photoshop.
Who we're looking for:
We're looking for a creative individual with a positive attitude and an appetite for learning new skills and trends in internet development. Clear, polite, professional written and verbal communication skills are a must, as regular contact with our business customers is an integral part of this position.
