Why did my domain transfer fail?
* The domain is expired. If the domain is expired, contact the losing registrar and request that they remove the expiry lock so you can complete a transfer.* The domain has a hold on it. Look up your domain in 'whois' and confirm the status is 'ok'
* 'Privacy options' are on for the domain. These are set at the registrar where the domain is currently registered--log into your account and turn 'privacy options' off.
* The authorization codes submitted were invalid. It is best to cut and paste these codes in when they are requested.
* The domain has been renewed with the losing registrar within the last 60 days. If a domain expires and it is renewed, it cannot be transferred to another registrar for 60 days.
* The domain expired before the transfer was complete. Transfers can take up to 7 days, which means you should not attempt a domain transfer if your domain is less than one week from its expiry date.
